Key Personnel - Manager

Mr. Winchell has been involved in all phases of construction since 1976 when he began his construction career as a framer and then as a superintendent overseeing the construction of single-family custom homes, and remodels, commercial buildings, and tenant improvements. He worked with owners, design professionals, and city planners to develop projects from their inception to providing custom details and finishes. He acquired his general contractor’s license and founded Winchell Construction Company in 1984.

Mr. Winchell has been responsible for all aspects of construction management including commercial tenant improvements, residential apartments, condominiums, single-family custom homes and remodels. He has consulted with soils engineers, structural engineers and architects in developing plans for varying property conditions.

Mr. Winchell is currently the manager of Jax Kneppers Associates, Inc., Southern California office. The JKA scope of work includes design, engineering, project management, site inspections, evaluation of construction and construction practices, estimating, and expert witness testimony.
